I Love Pizza, Pizza&Gourmet — Restaurant in Alicante

Ordered pizza from I love Pizza through Glovo a few times. Every time the pizza was delicious and good for the price but also, every time the pizza arrived later than expected. They offer a 20-40 minutes delivery that ends up being 2 HOURS. Not exaggerating, yesterday it took literally 2 hours for just one large Margherita to be delivered. We ordered it at 20:15 and it arrived at 22:17.

Sure, the pizza was great and we probably wouldn't have had a problem with the delay if they would have let us know but we had to call to see what happened with our pizza. The delivery time kept going higher on Glovo with no explanation and as I said, it's not the first time this happens.

We are obviously too naive and the first two times this happened we thought something must have happened: first time was a rainy day, second time we just wanted to give them a second chance. Third time is the charm and for sure, also the last one. Such a shame because their pizza is really good but not worth the trouble.

Maybe next time we should actually go to the restaurant but definitely, not ordering from...

Antes pedíamos bastante a este local, aunque por norma general siempre solían tardar mucho en traer la comida, eran unos tiempos de espera elevados pero razonables. Anoche decidimos hacer un pedido a las 20:45. A las 22:05, al ver que no llegaba el pedido, decidimos llamar nosotros al restaurante y nos contaron que "habían atropellado a uno de los repartidores" y que por eso iban con retraso, que lo tenían preparado y que el repartidor tardaría unos 30 minutos más en llegar a nuestra zona, por las molestias nos incluirían un refresco y un postre de regalo. Instantes después de la llamada, marcaron el pedido como entregado en Just Eat, lo cual me hizo empezar a sospechar que nos íbamos a quedar sin cena. A las 22:45 seguíamos sin recibir el pedido, y es cuando recibimos una llamada del local indicando en esta ocasión que "saltaban los plomos del horno" y que por eso iban con retraso, que tardarían entre 20 y 30 minutos más, a lo que por favor pedimos que cancelaran el pedido. Mienten descaradamente a los clientes, sin vergüenza ninguna jugando con atropellos de sus empleados. Entonces decidimos ponernos en contacto con Just Eat para gestionar un reembolso, cuando a las 23:05 desde Just Eat nos indican que el restaurante se niega y que tendríamos el pedido en la puerta en 5 minutos, lo cual también fue mentira ya que el pedido nunca apareció. A partir de ahí el restaurante dejó de atender las llamadas del servicio de atención al cliente de Just Eat, y por fin a las 23:45 se gestionó un reembolso por parte del propio Just Eat. Un servicio nefasto, con mentiras descaradas, malísima atención y 3h de espera para nada. Si no cuentan con personal suficiente para la cantidad de pedidos que reciben contraten a más personal, y si no quieren hacerlo no acepten pedidos que no van a poder llevar a cabo. Ordered through glovo. I paid before arrival in the app. After a while I get a notification that the order is cancelled because the deliver have tried to reach me without success (no one texted or called me). I call them back and they say that they waited for me for 20 minutes (a lie). I was waiting for them in my home. Typical low class ”restaurants”.
