Restaurante Giovanni — Restaurant in Almoradí

A wonderful experience. Our first visit to this unassuming restaurant, what a gem it is . Not a massive menu, but something for everyone. Three of us chose the sirloin steak , one the smoked duck. All of the meals cooked to perfection. Dessert was Tiramisu, fabulous. You hear about restaurant staff going the extra mile, in our case they did literally. We got lost whilst en route ,on foot to Giovannis, we rang to explain where in almoradi we were to get fresh directions, John ,Giovanni, insisted on collecting us and driving us to the restaurant. We will most certainly be returning ,and telling everyone who will listen what a wonderful food experience awaits them...

Sixteen days in Spain and struggling for good food and we find this little gem on the final day.

Excellent food and excellent friendly service. Don't be put off by the small front...air conditioed inside and al fresco dining at the rear.

Excellent choice of pasta dishes at a reasonable price and meat and fish dishes to spoilnyourelf with. I had the Bacon Wrapped and Black Pudding Stuffed Pork Loin served on mustard mash with onion gravy. Highly recommended.

Restaurante italiano llevado por un siciliano, con las comidas italianas tradicionales, pero sin pizzas (ya que "pizza podemos comer en todas partes" , como explica el Dueño, que no quiso ser otro más, que vende pizza. Y lo ha conseguido! Aquí puedes comer (menú del día o carta) o cenar (solamente carta). Menú del día vale 11.95 euros, las raciones son copiosas, te levantas después muy bien comido, incluye también el postre casero de alta calidad y un café. La carta.... aquí me va faltar espacio para decirlo todo, lo que se merecen estos platos fabulosos. Muuuy recomendable, hay carnes, hay pescado, hay pechuga de pollo rellena de queso de cabra... y muchas cosas más. Pero lo quedé de verdad distingue este restaurante de los demás, es el trato del cliente, que hace que te vas encontrar como si estuvieras comiendo en casa de tu familia. El dueño se pone guantes blancos, cuando te atiende, te explica con paciencia infinita todo lo que le preguntes de los platos o de la carta y te aconseja,para que puedas elegir lo que te interesay que te ayas feliz. Y para que vuelvas, que eso es inevitable😁. Cuando vienes la segunda vez, ya eres amigo de la casa y el trato mejora aún. Estuve comiendo allí varias veces y siempre vuelvo con ganas. Todo esto por precios muy asequibles y servido con rapidez. Ay, que hoy otra vez me ha tocado...
