This was one of our things to do on a stag weekend in Benidorm, on arrival it was a bit out of the way/industrial but had a good feel to it ,nice seating outside to enjoy some of the delicious beers they have to offer before your tour. Our guide was a young lady , very knowledgeable on brewing technique's,and as a compliment wasn't taking any crap from us pissed up Brits🙌🏻(seriously, some of our party thought they where 15 again with a bottle of white lighting)after you are taken to the bar area , then served multiple beers with complimenting cheese/meats , new flavours unlocked 🤤. Thoughy enjoyed our visit, and at only €20 an absolute bargain, only improvement I would suggest is a shuttle bus /round trip taxi included in the booking(taxi law is odd in Spain),even at €30 total is good, that aside they will arrange a taxi back to Benidorm (think it was €13 per taxi ) ,if you only like Stella this is not for you but if you like finer...

We had a great tour & tasting at the Brewery. We were shown the shop area and awards for the beers as well as the roasted cereals used in the beers. We were given some to try in their 3 different roasting phases, which all tasted great! We were then taken upstairs to the bar area (there is a lift) where we paired 4 beers with delicious bread, meat, cheeses & a lil cake. They all worked exceedingly well with each other and were very varied. We concluded the tour and were welcomed to stay for more beers or wine. We stayed for a few more lovely 8% beers, which made the walk home a lot...
Read moreI’ve been to Althaia a couple of times now and honestly, it’s one of those places that makes you smile the second you walk in. Proper laid-back, nothing pretentious, just people who love what they do and it shows in every glass.
The beers are spot on – fresh, full of flavour, and you can tell they actually care about what goes into them.
It’s also a cracking spot if you’re visiting Altea. Feels authentic, a bit of a hidden gem compared to the usual tourist bars. You can sit back, sip something decent, and actually feel like you’ve found somewhere special.
If you’re in town and want something more than the standard lager-in-the-sun, get yourself here. Trust me, you’ll end up planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your...
