The view is beautiful but the food and service isnt’t. The services was very slow even tough the restaurant was almost empty. The salads had way too many dressing, the fries and nuggets are fried in old oil and the other meals where dry and didn’t have much flavor. We also ordered the ‘fried’ chicken in garlic. When it first arrived it was cold, dry and looked like dogg food. The waiter already noticed it and offered an other one that never came. After telling the staff the didn’t try to fix it. We told them that we didn’t want it anymore and they should take it of the bill. Unfortunately when it was time to pay it was still on it and the staff reacted irritated. Si quieres comer paella en condiciones, este NO es tu sitio. Después de 4 años acudiendo, al menos una vez cada verano, y apreciando sus arroces y sus tapas, encargamos este año una paella de pollo y conejo. Alguien entiende una paella de pollo y conejo sin verduras?. ..., no?, bueno, pues, si a pesar de todo decides armarte de valor e ir a este sitio y pedir paella de pollo y conejo, asegúrate de pedirla con verduras porque aquí, si no lo haces, te ponen arroz con carne... Si, así, sin más, arroz con olor a Avecrem, curry, cocido??? ; color blanco mortecino; malo, muy malo; pasado no, pasadísimo. Entrantes, calamares romana y sepia plancha, correctos, sin más. Carta de vinos corta y excesivamente previsible. Sin aliciente. Pedimos un Martín Codax. Aquí, visto el buen gusto del local, ya no arriesgamos. Lo malo que lo sirven en una especie de cubierta de tela que se supone que debe mantener el vino fresco..... Pero no. Servicio....ufff, no sé, me sabe mal criticar a la gente joven porque ellos no tienen las culpa, pero... Vaya tela... Gente sin conocimiento en hostelería que intenta justificar los desmanes de la cocina y de la dirección del local, pobres... Al menos, un guitarrista flamenco y su hijo, amenizan la comida con su arte, y después pasan el sombrero. Eso y el vino, lo mejor. Ojo al precio, amigos. De traca. We just discovered this restaurant on the 4th day of our stay in Mascarat. They are open only till 6pm in the low season, but were very flexible with us even on saturday. We booked a table to have lunch with our baby in babycart. We had a superb paella, and great home-made desserts too. Food is great, service is very kind! Really recommend this place if...
