June 30, Sunday. I've just had an ugly situation at this café. Very disappointed 😥 My friend bought a dessert and I wanted to eat it out like others at the terrace and take a picture. The waiter told we have 5min and we agreed to buy it and eat fast. I sat at the table. Suddenly the same waiter ran to me and started shouting at me that in 5min they close and I should get up! ! That was unexpectedly loud and he sounded so rude and humiliating in front of other visitors who continued sitting at their tables. I told him I wanted at least to take the pic there. He started taking napkins from my table. I left the place and feel very offended. Have just arrived to Altea for summer holidays... pity to have my evening ruined. Will never return to this place. It was terrible....today was a hot day and we sat down to drink tea on the terrace of this cafe. under a canopy. when suddenly the waiters decided to remove the canopy, supposedly because of the wind, which was not there and the sun was shining in my eyes, it was impossible to sit because of the heat ... I applied 3 times with a request to re-install the canopy, but in response they were rude, rude, very unfriendly and even allowed themselves to comment on my request with a very negative subtext ... like, paid, drank tea and get out of here ... terribly spoiled the dream and my friends mood. never ever !!! This is the typical business that I always define like: done it with love. We went last year and came back this one. The staff is friendly, the location is great and there is option to take away, dine-in or at the terrace. You could get drinks like coffee, horchata, lemon granizado o even a cola. Ice creams, pastries and homemade ice creams are available as well. The quality is stunning and the owner really take care of the natural food process.
