I would've loved to give 5 stars because the fideua was delicious, servers were great and the restaurant is lovely and in a great location with a view! But I'm giving only 3 for the 2 reasons below:

-They were sneaky with the bill. They served and charged us for bread that we didn't even want. Other restaurants in the area either give bread for free or ask you beforehand. They also randomly gave us 2 croquettes, I asked and they said those were for free, but since they charged us 2.40€ per each slice of bread with tomato, we assume we ended up paying for the croquettes too for that price. Fideua/paellas are big, no need for bread or croquettes at all! Seems like they take advantage of tourists like this, pretending to give you free stuff but you're actually paying for it. In a way forcing you to buy a starter I guess.

-Price/cheapness Also the paellas/fideua were a bit pricey, which is ok because of the restaurant's special location. But we also thought they were cheap with the amount of fish/seafood in it compared to other places. It's fine to have higher prices for a place like this, but to also cheap out on the dishes means taking advantage of...

I recently dined at La Capella and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the food was acceptable, it certainly didn't live up to its high price tag. The dishes were extremely simple and lacked any unique flair or complexity—something that even an amateur cook could easily prepare at home.

The main courses, though edible, were bland and uninspired. The flavors were basic, and the presentation did little to elevate the experience. Given the price, I expected something far more sophisticated and memorable.

The real letdown was the dessert. We ordered ice cream, hoping for a sweet ending to our meal. Instead, we were served what tasted like frozen water. It was probably the worst ice cream I have ever eaten—completely devoid of flavor and texture.

Adding to the disappointment was the service. Our waiter was not exceptionally nice, which further detracted from the overall dining experience.

Overall, the restaurant does not justify its steep prices. With lackluster food, subpar desserts, and mediocre service, it's hard to recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying...

This place is behind and kind of hidden from the church plaza. And the reason why is more quite and less crowded, if compared with the restaurants at the touristic area. The terrace is cozy, charming... Just wonderful. I love this place. I recommend sitting at the terrace in a spring or summery day. Go to this place for the fish and the rices. The "al horno" and the one "a banda" are great. The sepia is out of this world. The salad of the house is stunning, with a thick piece of tuna, olives and all great ingredients. They always serve bread with tomato and alioli, as a starter. Try it.... Is good. And the desserts are homemade. The cakes are top. This place is not cheap at all, yet all is fresh, well cooked and the venue is special. The owner always walks and talks to the customers making sure that everyone is fine. He also takes the orders. There, everyone works. Better if you reserve.
