MORSI - Pizza & Co. — Restaurant in Altea

We waited 1 complete hour before we got our food. In that time, we saw people arrive, finish their food, and leave, before we got ours. We ordered 2 pastas and 2 pizzas, which didn’t even arrive at the same time. When we asked when the food was coming (after waiting 40 minutes), we were told it would arrive in 2 minutes. It did NOT. When we spoke to the waitress when our food finally arrived, she did not apologize. Instead, she said the food was made in different parts of the kitchen, which was why the food arrived so late. Personally, I find that statement incredibly weird, as we saw multiple people get their dishes quickly. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they made it is seem as if it was a normal occurrence. The service we got, and the wait time, made the experience unsatisfactory. This is disappointing, as the food itself was good. My friend did get food poisoning from the fruti de mare pasta, so I would NOT get that. I will never recommend this restaurant, even if...

We had a fantastic experience at this beautiful seaside restaurant. Briefly stopped for some tasty drinks and went on our way. I had mentioned about getting a taxi and they kindly offered to help. We declined as wanted to have a walk and were told where the rank was. After a leisurely walk we headed to the taxi rank. Needless to say it wasn’t a success and after 30 mins of trying in the heat we heading back to Morsi. We were all greeted with a smile and a wonderful young lady didn’t hesitate to ring the taxi firm and managed to get us sorted in a few minutes. This is, in my opinion, the best place to eat Italian food in Altea. The food is great and they actually use Italian ingredients (like Parma ham, for instance, and burrata, among others). The location is very nice (right in front of the beach) and you can enjoy the view of Altea's bay while you are eating. The owner is very open and friendly and the staff is efficient and kind and never imposing or rude. They make you feel at home, in pure Italian style. The prices are reasonable and fair.
