I wish I lived closer to Altea! So many Chinese restaurants closed or offering mediocre food at best! When returning from Alicante airport I often stop here. Always excellent service and the food several levels above what you are offered elsewhere. This time I had the Menu Económico at €7.95 but paid the €2 supplement for spicy duck. Yum! Spring roll starter with lovely thick sauce, (so often watered down elsewhere). Ice cream plus 2 glasses of red wine and Chinese liquor, still available under €13 including tip! Visited this restaurant on Saturday around 7.00pm before the tourist rush. The food is excellent value, after starters of Spare ribs (4€)and Chicken Satay (4€), I had the House Special Sizzler (8.95€) which was more than enough for two let alone one with egg fried rice on the side (2€) and full of taste. My partner had Chicken Curry with Almonds (5.25€) which was also very good value. Including a few cañas and a glass of wine it came to (34.30€) and we took a large 'doggy bag' home. I stopped here for dinner during a recent visit. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The price was a little bit more expensive than what I'm used to but the portion sizes were decent and I left well fed and happy. I had the chinese salad, sweet n sour chicken with 3 delicious rice, followed by a white coffee.
