Horrible. They gave us the sofa seat and we came with 2 children. Restaurant was full and they let us wait for a long time and we couldn’t order. Turns out we have to wait more because we didn’t have a reservation. Sorry but tell us in advance or tell us „you are not Spanish locals“ so we don’t serve you. One of the worst experience in Altea that we had.

Answer to your statement : I think this is where we exactly disagree. It is absolutely clear that if someone did make a reservation, the person should be treated exactly the same as somebody without it. That is also what your waitress told me. Otherwise we would have went to another place. Guys this is just not great service. ;-) Prioritising...are you kidding me.

You told my wife that you cant take her order...and in the next minute you took the order from the table next to us...a couple coming in minutes after us. Imagine how you would feel in a restaurant...unbelievable. And we were there with 2 hungry kids.

We went to a pizza place next door and they told us the minute we came in that we cant have a seat, but we can have some food for take away. So that is good service....

Creo que puedo decir que he probado la mayor parte de italianos🇮🇹 que hay por Altea📍y sin duda este me sorprendió mucho de principio a fin.

▪️Lolipop de queso🧀. Queso curado rebozado con pan crujiente y mermelada de frambuesa🫐. 7€

▪️Pinsa🍕 bifera. tomate🍅, mozzarella, mermelada de higo, gorgonzola🧀, rucula y nueces. 13€

▪️Pinsa🍕 Bufalina. Tomate, mozzarella de búfala y albahaca con extra de guanciale (fresco de ese día). 12,5€ sin extra

▪️Quesillo canario🍮

▪️Tiramisú con licor Disaronno🥃. 7€

Reseña💬: Enpezamos probando su queso🧀 rebozado, un queso con un sabor pronunciado gracias a que usan un queso curado haciendo que se pueda apreciar bien el sabor, además la mermelada de frambuesa estaba increíble, me la comí literalmente sola🫢

Hablemos de sus pinsas, una masa muy crujiente, para nada pesada y muy fácil de comer, con unos ingredientes de calidad y raciones más que considerables teniendo en cuenta su precio. El precio de la pizza es algo inferior al de esta.

Sin duda me quedo con la de mermelada de higo, una combinación excelente entre la potencia del gorgonzola y el dulzor del higo, una pinsa que repetiría mil veces.

La de búfala sí que es cierto que es más ligera, refrescante, tal vez para mí algo sencilla aunque estaba muy buena, todo hay que decirlo. Si hubieran tenido mortadela hubiera sido una pizza de 10🥺

En general ambas estaban muy buenas, combinaciones acertadas y con ingredientes que acompañar perfectamente.

Sus postres🍮, son sencillos pero muy buenos, no es el mejor tiramisú que he probado pero el licor le da ese toque que a mí tanto me gusta y no muchos lo llevan.

Es un sitio al que volveré porque a parte de que el trato fue muy bueno, todo lo que probamos me pareció excelente, de principio a fin.

El servicio sí que fue algo lento pero para ser un martes el local estaba bastante lleno. Tienen una terraza monísima y también tienen servicio delivery ya que escuché...

Absolutely delicious food here, great wine selection and friendly staff. Really great price for the quality of the food, The pinsa pizza has no business being that yummy!! Also enjoyed the company of a very friendly resident cat😺 while dining. We ate here when it was very quiet but did pass by another evening and the place had a nice buzz to it. Our only regret is that our stay wasn't long enough to return for another fantastic meal, but will definitely be top of the list if/when we are ever back in Altea (Sorry about no photos-we took a picture of the cat but the food was inhaled before we thought about the a...
