This Restaurant: 10/10 – A Love Letter to My Taste Buds
My darlings, are you listening? Do you hear me? Because I need you to understand something. I would NEVER lead you astray.
We were just out for a casual stroll along the beach, looking for a place to eat after discovering our original spot was closed. And just like that, fate guided us to this little gem. Listen, the moment we stepped our foot inside, the air was thick with the kind of delicious aromas that makes your stomach do a happy dance. You know when a place just smells like it's about to change your life and do some good damage at the same time? Yeah, that kind of food
It’s a small/cute, intimate spot, so if you can, book ahead. We ordered calamari, pizza, and tiramisu, and I need you to brace yourselves because what I’m about to say is not an exaggeration. I’ve had these dishes countless times, in countless places, but here at That’s Amore? It's a completely different league. This spot hit different, okay. Every bite was a masterclass in flavour/taste. The best I’ve Ever had. And I’ve eaten my way across the world, so that’s saying something. Are you hearing me, dear?
And the tiramisu? Listen to me please. If I could write poetry, I’d dedicate an entire sonnet to it. His spin on this classic dessert is so outrageously good, I actually considered ordering a second one just to experience the magic all over again.
I can’t say enough about this place. You’ll just have to go and experience it for yourself. And when you do, prepare to be UtterlY amazed. Your taste buds will thank you later. I Highly recommend this...

I had the pleasure of trying the ravioli, and they were absolutely delicious! The courteous owner carefully shaved fresh truffles at the table – an unforgettable taste! For dessert, I ordered the homemade tiramisu – simply divine.
The service is exceptionally friendly, and an added bonus is the ability to communicate in English. The owner puts his heart into decorating the dishes, and it shows in every detail.
If you're looking for authentic Italian flavors and a charming spot in Altea, "That's Amore" is definitely worth a visit. A nearby underground parking facility makes getting there even easier.
This is a place where you'll feel comfortable whether dining alone, meeting a friend, or enjoying a meal with your partner. I wholeheartedly...
Read moreCame in for dinner and ordered Aperol spritz. After 15 min lady comes with a Campari soda …. And hasn’t even asked me if I wanted it? I found that rather odd. There is NO wine list. Just some basic wine. Food is so average. Salads are served in plastic bowls and include unripe hard out of fridge tomatoes…Yes plastic! Pastas are rather tasteless and simple. No flavour no fresh herbs. I’m a connoisseur in aubergine parmigiana and this one … basic. Too much mozzarella not enough Parmesan and tomato sauce wasn’t great but aubergine was cooked well. I don’t think the quality of ingredients is there. Maybe pizzas are better but I wouldn’t go back for...
