Asiático Island Sun — Restaurant in Andratx

Nice location, huge menu with Chinese, Thai and Japanese Dishes. What a shame the food is average to below average.

Starter was wrong, we took it anyway and it was the best thing we ate there. A salmon bowl. With the starter came one of the main courses. It was taken back to the kitchen to be kept warm. We ordered Vegetable fried nudels. There were no vegetables at all, only fried onion! The Thai green prawn curry was almost tastless, had vegetables but no fresh spices and herbs being used like ginger, coriander, mint, spring onions that would certainly make these dishes more enjoyable. We told the waiter there was no vegetables with their vegetable fried nudels... he answer was, do you like the nudels anyway :-) .... we got a plastic fan as a sorry but not offered to recook the meal properly, which would have been the right thing to do Won't be going...

I would like to review my review.

Upon our recent visit (after many over the years as a resident ) forgotten starters. Main course rice came out cold 10 minutes before the mains. Forgot the Singapore noodles which, when clarified came out as what looked spaghetti with bbq sauce. Terrible wine. The spicy chicken was sticky and sugary so was the sweet and sour pork.

Very average and the owner didn’t even apologise. Instead the waitress came over and blamed the kitchen for having a takeaway order despite the restaurant being empty and then blamed the untrained staff. Very unprofessional.

Gave us some nice after dinner drinks to try rescue it but sadly too late.

Intermittent reggaton music was terrible.
