I had dinner at this restaurant during my stay in Palma de Mallorca, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. To start with, the waitress didn’t speak English, which already made communication a bit difficult. At a table of nine, we were given only seven menus, and one of them even had different prices than the others. The table was sticky, as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly, so we asked if it could be wiped down. The lady kindly cleaned it, but only one out of the four tables we had. When it came time to order drinks, I barely had the chance to ask before the waitress decided for us and walked away, thinking the orders were complete. I ordered a “Mexican Salad,” which turned out to be just some lettuce and onion with a slice of lime on top — and it cost €9.50, when it couldn’t have been worth more than €1. The only positive note was the beautiful view of the marina, but unfortunately the food and service didn’t live up to expectations. I went in hoping to enjoy some authentic tapas and local cuisine, but I left feeling confused and disappointed.

I recently dined at Ferns, the new restaurant in Port Andratx, and it was an exceptional experience. The Food: Ferns delivers outstanding cuisine. Every dish on the menu is a culinary masterpiece, showcasing top-notch ingredients and expert preparation. The Atmosphere: Nestled by the sea, Ferns offers a romantic setting with breathtaking sunset views, creating an enchanting dining environment. The Decor: The restaurant's interior is a blend of luxury and comfort, with tasteful design elements that enhance the overall dining experience. The Staff: The staff at Ferns is welcoming and attentive, elevating the dining experience with their warm hospitality. In summary, Ferns in Port Andratx is a must-visit for its exceptional food, captivating atmosphere, and friendly service. It's a seaside delight that leaves a lasting impression.

British tourist. Visited Sept 25. Found ferns off the back of google reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are friendly, it’s nicely designs and have lovely views of the harbour. The tapas choices seem really fresh and the portion sizes were large. We had prawn tacos, tuna tartar, con de crystal, burrata with pesto (the pesto is really good), tortilla and a very rich Sobrassada. The prices were very reasonable especially the tapas prices elsewhere we found on the island. The desserts sounded lovely but the waiter actually recommended enjoying a walk down to a gelato shop down the road. In many respects it’s a class act when a business isn’t focussed on upselling and recommends you try somewhere else on your holiday. Definitely a place we’d recommend checking out.
