Restaurante My Way puerto de andratx — Restaurant in Andratx

After being recommended my wife and I booked a table to eat at this restaurant this evening. The location is stunning and we were very much looking forward to our dinner. I ordered sole and my wife a chicken dish. When it came it was presented beautifully. My sole was beautifully. cooked and my wife enjoyed her chicken. However, the vegetables, including the potatoes were cold. We mentioned this to the waiter, who mumbled something and walked away. When eventually a waiter came to remove our plates, I again mentioned our disappointment with the vegetables being cold and this not being addressed. We restaurant is right by the sea and we were happy to sit and wait for the desert menu. After 20 minutes we decided to just wait and see if we would be served. We say a number of customers who came to the restaurant after us being served with their dinner and having deserts, with some of them leaving. After waiting for over an hour we decided to leave. I spoke to the restaurant manager and quietly mentioned my disappointment. He pointed to how busy the restaurant was, effectively suggesting, what did we expect? I paid in full (it wasn't cheep, EU$75 for a main course and two glasses of wine) and we left. In answering his question, what did we expect, certainly much better service and an apology for treating us as if he didn't care. No doubt, to him we were just tourists who might never be back in Majorca. But we will be back, but not be visiting...

Worst meal ever eaten in 30 years of coming to Port Andraix and worst point was that they didn’t/would not listen to complaints. My husbands rack of lamb cold and fatty, they recommended paella for me but brought it piled high on a medium plate rather than serving from a paella dish at the table! Sent most of it back , totally inedible and unappealing served this way!!!

Husbands Chocolate Fondant , no melting middle ! They seemed quite unconcerned and offended that we expected there to be one! Unable to have fresh fruit with crepes, only served with nuts they had no fresh fruit. So I chose cheesecake which was like a slab of stale cake and 3 spoonfuls was enough, it was like leather!

Worst was totally unconcerned attitude for our complaints, made to feel we were problem!

Please bring back restaurants we have enjoyed at Port Andraix in over 30 years of coming.

Didn’t even suggest that I may like a cocktail before meal , non on menu.. Lemoncello at end glass of slush with little lemoncello, at least didn’t pay for this!

Steer clear or eat here at...

We visited My Way in Port Andratx as a family of three. The starters were very good – I had the gyoza dumplings, and my husband had the carpaccio. Both were full of flavor and nicely presented.

The main courses were mixed: My husband had the spaghetti frutti di mare, which were okay. I ordered the risotto with prawns, truffle, and mushrooms. While the mushrooms were fresh, the prawns were unfortunately overcooked and lacked flavor. The risotto rice itself wasn’t cooked properly – it wasn’t creamy and had a hard texture, not what you’d expect from a proper risotto.

Our child ordered chicken with rice – we had clearly asked for rice only, but fries were served anyway, so there was a misunderstanding.

The price-performance ratio wasn’t right in my opinion – especially for the kids’ meal and my risotto. However, the starters and my husband’s main dish were fine. Overall, we give 4 stars – nice atmosphere and some good dishes, but still room for improvement in both food consistency...
