Restaurante Il Bolognese — Restaurant in Arico

This was the absolute worse italian restaurant i've ever been!!! Firstly, we asked for bread which was said to be homemade and of slow fermentation - they gave us 4 tiny pieces of a dry, supermarket bread. Then the burrata. I've had burrata in italy, and i usually buy it even in supermarkets around europe. It is a semisolid spheric cheese with a very soft and almost liquid inside. Here, they served just a liquid white thing, which could be, at most, the inside of a really bad quality burrata. Last but not the least, the piadinas. My boyfriend asked one that had ham, mozarella and mushrooms - they put a huge amount of sliced ham with CANNED mushrooms and cold mozarella. The only positive thing about this place were the two young waiters serving, which were nice, and polite. The rest just felt like pure scam. Not even in my worse nightmare i would have aten so badly. And it costed 50 euros for two. It's not that hard to make eatable...

You really feel that the food is fresh and of superb quality: you’ll get tasty food prepared with love as Italians can do it. Also original quality cocktails. Great staff, incredibly friendly, family business. Amazing building with 300° view on sea, protected from strong winds (with some windows open to feel it). Relaxing, luminous place with lots of room between tables and with nice minimalistic decoration (and also great music !). We went there 3 times but we would have been there more often if they were open more days. Unique value for money in Tenerife. I truly reccomend this restaurant. I went there with 3 other people:the pizza was unique and really really tasty, the seafood was fresh and delicous, but the Balanzoni pasta and deserts were the main stars of the event, they were extraordinary!! Overall i also reccomend the pizza Luna Rossa for the lovers of spice. The interior was relaxing,the big windows with the view of the sea were a huge bonus. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, who was from poland, as well as we are.
