Very disappointed but perhaps the quality lacked as it was Christmas. Came here after several friends recommended it. There was some good food (salmon and pasta) but overall poor and service was very poor. One of the starters was crispy langoustine, really it was a breaded deep fried prawn with some sweet chilli sauce. No garnish or salad. Ravioli was tasty but cold and only had 1 piece (if that) of asparagus per person chopped into 4 small pieces. The steak quality varied quite dramatically between us (mine was excellent but served quite rare vs. my companions whose was tough and cooked medium) and it was cold. The steak was only served with (very sweet) celeriac puree, no other vegetables or garnish. Brownie and ice cream was ok (expected a bit more effort, especially as the ice cream tasted like it was from a carton). You can tell they know how to cook....they just executed really poorly and so I'd give them the benefit of doubt on their normal food. The service didn't make up anything. It took us 1 hour to receive our starters, 2.5 hours for the main course. All-in we were there for 3 hours 40...for a 4 course meal is nearly an hour per course. They did not refill water, rather they asked if we wanted to order more before we'd even finished. They didn't explain what each course was, no one asked how we wanted our steak cooked or if we were enjoying our meal and we had to ask for bread. The manager was extremely apologetic at the end and genuine when he asked for our opinion and we were unhappy The wine was excellent and the singer was very talented and created a nice atmosphere Overall maybe we were unlucky with our experience seeing the other good reviews (including from friends) but the meal we had was simply...
Read moreThis thrilling experience was definitely worth it, offering a culinary dream. The atmosphere created a very inviting and warm feeling listening to some calming music while enjoying the food.
The waiters were extremely kind, detailing everydish as presented, while taking care of not forgetting anything.
We ordered : -Boneless Black Angus entrecote ( from the dry aged meat collection ) -Pacherri with lobster, cherry tomatoes and its bisque ( which was for 2 per.) -Miso soup with seafood and seaweed -Scallops with truffle cream and crunchy speck -A glass of whine
At the beginning we got served a piece of bread each, and some homemade pistachio and miso butter which was terrific ! ❤️ The Black angus was done with a medium cook, which we really liked the taste and the seasoning but the meat itself was a touch on the hardside. That lobster was the best part of the night, as the flavor profile was incredible : the sauce was a miracle, the lobster was cooked perfectly ( especially the legs ), and the pacherri ( pasta ) was incredibly done at ''al dente''. Just at the entrance there was a big fish tank in which there were around 10 blue lobsters waiting to be eaten. Suprisingly, the waiter shows us the one we will be eating before cooking it. Miso soup was so well presented and had a great ginger and seafood taste. Normaly, for me the scallops match very well with fruits but we never thought that it would go so well with the powerful truffle flavor, as the speck was so crunchy and delicious just like upgraded chips.
Overall, this was an amazing culinary experience as we loved it and will definitely come back to enjoy the tasting menu and the great...
Read moreThe atmosphere is pretty good, but 60% of the food was not that good at all. We ordered pasta, creamy rice and some salads. They were overpriced for sure, and in my opinion, the pasta was not eadable. 3 people tried it and they all proved my opinion - the shrimp tartar was not good, the pasta was too hard and it had a specific non-very-pleasing after taste. The service was slow and confusing, they messed up our orders a few times. I recommend not to waste your money and time in...
