El Corazón — Restaurant in Arona

Tastiest plate of food in Tenerife. We love this hidden gem. There were six of us and two children. The Thai red curry was fantastic and the Tuna was perfect. The owners are really friendly and helpful - our 10 month old needed rocking to sleep just as mains arrived and they took the dish back to keep it warm - a precious hot meal and shows the hosts warm approach.

Verzorgd terras met vlotte bediening. De chef is Belgisch en studeerde aan Ter Groene Poorte in Brugge. Zijn (Amerikaanse) echtgenote verzorgt de bediening. Beiden leuke, klantvriendelijke mensen. De keuken is internationaal. Als starter namen we kaaskroketjes: pikante en niet-pikante. Beide soorten lekker, met mooi smeuïge inhoud en een prachtig panko-korstje. Daarnaast tataki van tonijn met wasabimayonaise. Als hoofdschotel voor de eega een filet pur met béarnaise en voor mij de entrecôte, beide lekker smakend rund en correct gebakken.
