Kaygan's Bar — Restaurant in Arona

We have just returned from the Club Marino apartments in Tenerife and ate at Kaygans Bar most days. Run by Steve and Amy, who were a very welcoming couple, as was Lucy who works there. The food is excellent bar food, the service was quick and always friendly and the prices very reasonable. This place does breakfast/sandwiches/baguettes/toasties, and also your usual bar type meals and desserts. We ate here most lunchtimes and a couple of evenings. There were four adults and two children in our group and we all loved the food. My youngest is four, and a little fussy, but Steve didn’t blink twice at sorting her out a plate of cucumber and tomatoes, which she loved(as well as the chips). They also do baguettes, wrapped and bagged to take with you to the airport. If you’re spending days by the pool then this place was perfectly on hand for drinks/snacks/lunch and soon became part of our daily routine. They also have a small TV in the bar which had the English pre season friendlies being shown. I would definitely go back to Club Marino, but only knowing that this bar was on hand. The main restaurant did good food, but was a little pricey for what it was.

Very friendly Sunday dinner is the best in area breakfast is all English produce cooked to your liking. Spot on. Try fish and chips on Friday but make sure your hungry cos there huge. Steve and Amy great hosts genuinely friendly...
