L'Instinct — Restaurant in Arona

No Service, no hygiene and Where dogs have a higher priority to customers.

This was a terrible experience ultimately, after a reasonable starter the main course of “Gambas Armoricaine.?” Arrived with prawns that did not peel at all well ,accompanied with diced vegetables with a grossly excessive salt content. We waited and waited and waited for a desert menu but it never arrived. The remaining diners had all left, bar a couple and still no service. One waiter took a dog out, and then picked it up as she walked off. Reappearing 10minutes later she asked if we wanted coffee. We suggested it may have been better if she had asked first about deserts, and when asked declined to say if she had washed her hands after picking up the dog. On the third time of asking we were subjected to a stream of French/Belgian invective culminating in an instruction to calm down. We will not return, however I did leave a tip….”if you need to learn good service try the Italian restaurant”…

And prices were noticeably 20% higher than...

L'instinct is a very elegant restaurant, different to the other spanish restaurants, the cooking style and menu comes more from a french taste. The waiters were very friendly and responsible. We ordered ; Foie gras -Chefs specialty Ravioli -Shrimp with cheese croquettes The plating was so tempting, as the foie gras dish came with some roasted pears, caramelized onions, fruit reduction, mango puree and pan seared crispy bread. This dish was excuisite, as all of the different flavors and textures came together ; the sweetness, saltiness and crispyness ! The ravioli filling was very good mith meat and chives. The two shrimp croquettes were also incredible, very cheesy and the shrimp was very soft and hot. We loved this experience, and was for sure the best restaurant we have eaten in, here in Tenerife. We spent 54 euros for 4 people and all the portion sizes were perfect. We really recommend this...

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here the other night. A small menu but very good quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. From the starter to dessert the waitress was explained everything that we didn't know. How each dish was prepared. The chef actually brought out our main course and was very interested in any feedback we had. Not that I can say anything bad about the food or overall experience. Definitely worth a visit and we will be...
