Lewinski Restaurant — Restaurant in Arona

In March 2024 at 4pm we stumbled across their 3 Course Meal Offer for 10,95€, which sounded like worth a try. We all chose a Tuna Salad as a Starter, Sirloin Steak with Mushroom Cream Sauce for Main and I ordered Lemon Cake for Dessert, while the others tried Chocolate Ice Cream. The Restaurant was almost empty, but we finished our first Large Beer bevor even the Starter was served. The Main Course took them another Beer Lenght and the Dessert aswell. I could understand if the Restaurant was packed, but it wasn't at all, in fact there were only 2 other Tables that had to be served.

Service behaved like a Robot, no smile, no recommendation, not even checking if everything was fine after serving the food.

The Salad was OK, no Dressing provided, just Olive Oil / Vinegar, which is not my favorite. The Sirloin Steak was Medium on Point, but quite small & like a chewing gum and my Cake for Dessert was being served completely FROZEN...

All in all OK for the Money, but I wouldn't go there again or recommend...

Tasty food and good value for money. We got in & considered leaving as decor is rather mismatched, tacky and tatty also no polish owner (as name would suggest), so we felt misled. It was clean though and there were people eating, waitress was clearing tables & plates were polished so we stayed to find out for ourselves. Food was good. Steak with pepperncorn sauce was not as well done as we ordered but sauce was nice. They were out of cakes. Waitress efficient and polite, not very chatty or smiley-unlike staff EVERYWHERE else. The place and its decor ar very tired and ready for refurbishment. I only called in at lunchtime for a quick drink and a toilet break.
