My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, it was clear that this restaurant's main concern was not providing quality service or food, but rather manipulating their reviews to make themselves look better.
The owner of the restaurant was grabbing phones from customers to leave a 5-star review himself. This was a clear attempt at manipulating their reviews, and it was completely unacceptable. It's important for businesses to earn their reviews through quality service and food, not by trying to coerce their customers into leaving good reviews.
Furthermore, the food itself was terrible and the restaurant was not clean. We didn't even finish our meal, but instead of letting us pay and leave, a manager came over to intimidate us and make sure that we didn't leave a bad review. This is completely unacceptable behavior for any business.
Overall, I would highly recommend that you avoid this restaurant. Their actions are unethical, and their food and service are not worth the risk of having a negative experience. There are plenty of other restaurants out there that truly value their customers and work hard to provide quality service and food, and those are the restaurants that deserve your business.
edit: owners response
If you're reading this, I want to take a moment to address the owner of the restaurant. I understand that you may be upset by the negative review that was left, but it is completely inappropriate to call a reviewer fake without any evidence to support your claim.
As a customer who had a negative experience at your restaurant, I can assure you that my review was honest and truthful. I was disappointed by the quality of the food and service, and I was also disturbed by the attempt to manipulate reviews by grabbing peoples phones to leave a 5-star review yourself.
Instead of trying to silence negative reviews or discredit them by calling reviewers fake, I would encourage you to take these reviews seriously and use them as an opportunity to improve your business. If there are areas where your restaurant could use improvement, take action to make those changes and show your customers that you care about providing a quality experience.
In the end, it is the quality of the service and food that will ultimately determine the success of your business, not manipulations of reviews. So instead of focusing on trying to control your reviews, focus on providing excellent service and quality food to...
Read moreA Hidden Gem in Tenerife – Little India
I recently dined at Little India in Tenerife, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that was not only attentive but also delightfully entertaining, adding an extra charm to the whole experience.
The food was exceptional, bursting with rich flavors and presented beautifully. The Peshwari naan was an absolute highlight—perfectly soft, sweet, and fragrant, probably the best I’ve ever had. Each dish was packed with layers of authentic Indian spices that made every bite a delight.
Unlike other restaurants in the area that seem to prioritize entertainment or flashy appearances to justify their high prices, Little India focuses on what truly matters: incredible food and a genuine dining experience. No gimmicks here—just big, delicious surprises that left me more than satisfied.
If you’re in Tenerife and looking for authentic Indian food with great service and no tourist traps, Little India is an...
Read moreRead moreFirst, we were served flat beer (warm glass, no fizz, flat foam) and as a former waitress I perfectly know that it was someone's rejected order. The 2nd beer "magically" came in frosty glass, all bubbly and with foam... it's strange to bring a review card after this deliberate choise. Secondly, I'm used to more generous portions at Indian restaurants. 🙃 At the beginning we were excited for good pricing (~10€/per main dish +sides) but portions (and especially side rice!) were so small that we ended up with 4mains, few sides, and few naans, 3 drinks just to be normal eaten. So you spend 30€/per. in (not fancy) Indian restaurant. Overall, was delicious. Came back home, ate more. "Little" India indeed 😀 But I don't think we (as residents here) we'll be...
