Our Place — Restaurant in Arona

Riky Britain: I visited to seek out a quality and tasty Sunday roast, I was not disappointed! Most tables were reserved, great start as this place must be popular! Great welcome and a perfectly presented fresh not frozen dish of chicken roast arrived. I’m more Italian in my expectation than a Brit, this was just what I’d hoped to find! If you’re in the area you needn’t look any further! Tasty and roast potatoes and creamy mash (freshly made Yorkshire pudding (naughty chef bought brown flour) everything was great! I stayed to watch football with a couple of customers as I was so chilled! Top marks guys, lovely owners/staff… keep it up! Where do I start! Ok! So we planned on having a roast with the football but made the mistake of not booking in advance! And it defo was a mistake! The food looked amazing and had me hunt down the wonderful owner, Irene! After explaining my mistake she agreed to do us a roast especially the next day! Just wow! We went back and OMG was it worth it! For 10 euro you get this banging meal, great company and fun and upbeat vibe! Loved all the staff and hats off to the chef too! Cannot wait to come back next year and will be making a reservation as soon as I land! Added bonuses are it’s 5 mins from my hotel palia don pedro and it’s surrounded by other bars and restaurants! And you can get an ice cold pint for 2 euro....

Too the other half Jan. She thought it was the Albatross. But when I said that it was OUR PLACE. She went WOW like I. Did when I 1st looked at the photos. We will both be in for the football.
