Oasis Café — Restaurant in Arona

There is no menu available. The waitress comes to you with a hand written menu in French and tries to translate it to you, but unfortunately she doesn’t speak English, so you have to take a photo and use google translate. They also don’t inform you about the prices, so you have to ask for each dish individually. We wanted to come to the restaurant in the evening as walk-ins, but the waitress said it’s not possible without reservation. We see this restaurant from the window, up until closing time there were empty tables all the time. When we went the next day, the situation was similar, there were only 2 tables occupied. The waitress offered us Sprite to drink, turned out to be Fresh Gas from Mercadona. We drank our “Sprite”, paid 2 euro for each and left. Quite simply one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten! Oliver and David make a fantastic team, the former is a magnificent host and the latter an absolute wizard in the kitchen! A great environment, aptly named given it's location and fornthe quality of food and service, the price was mind-blowingly cheap! If it were possible, I'd was here 7 days a week! Also, big shout out to my unexpected dinner guest, Jurgen... stay strong and keep swimming...

Un bijou culinaire caché Perdu au milieu d’une copropriété à l'écart des sentiers battus, L’OASIS CAFÉ semble échapper aux regards curieux des touristes ordinaires. Pourtant, ceux qui s'aventurent à le chercher seront récompensé par l’accueil d’Olivier qui met immédiatement à l'aise. Le décor, bien que simple, dégage un charme authentique. Les tables sont élégamment dressées, prêtes à accueillir les aventuriers gourmands. Dans la cuisine ouverte sur la salle, c’est Rita qui officie dans l’exubérance et la bonne humeur. Le menu est systématiquement composé suivant les arrivages journaliers et saisonniers. Les saveurs de chaque plat sont soigneusement accordées, les ingrédients sont d'une fraîcheur irréprochable. Olivier qui assure un service impeccable et attentionné, se distingue par une discrétion bienveillante et une connaissance approfondie des plats proposés. En somme, ce restaurant bien que difficile à trouver, mérite amplement l'effort de le chercher. La cuisine et l'ambiance se conjuguent pour créer un moment inoubliable. Nous avons savourer sans modération, merci à Rita et Olivier pour cette parenthèse enchantée, et à très bientôt lors de notre prochain séjour à la Costa...
