Ticino Bar — Restaurant in Arona

Disappointing experience at the restaurant. Upon arrival, the waiter informed us about a limited special menu, which we agreed to. However, we waited over 2 hours for a small plate of tapas and two small courses. When we inquired about settling the bill due to the extended wait, the staff insisted we should have anticipated the delay and that we should pay the full price. Additionally, they informed us that we would need to wait until 11pm for the rest of the menu (another 2 hours) because other guests were not in a hurry like us. Well you should have told us earlier that your special menu will take from 7 pm to 11 pm. I had eaten special menus elsewhere and it doesn't take so many hours. Food is really delicious, portions are on the big side and the service is good. What more can one ask? :)
