We were driving through the mountains and stopped in this beautiful little village. A local recommended this restaurant so we had lunch here. The waiter was super nice and spoke English enough to make it a pleasant experience. The menu has a lot of good choices, he recommended the grilled eggplant slices with local mountain honey & it was delicious. Only local people here, no frills, clean bathroom, free parking nearby & some great views to see if you take a brief walk after your meal. Recommended for sure.

Stopped here while walking the GR131 in direction of Tamadaba campsite. Very good food and well-priced. Excellent service from the waitress who speaks very good English. I recommend the stewed beef that comes with rice and fries. Cheesecake was ok, albeit not very sweet (but I think this is typic of cheesecake in Canary Islands) Lots of charging points inside the restaurant where I charged my phone and powerbank.

A great cafe to experience different tastes of Gran Canaria. We ordered from the starter menu as we wanted to have a quick bite. Everything was prepared fast. We absolutely LOVED the grilled cheese with homemade jam. The Canary potatoes with mojo were fantastic and the gofio escaldado was a new experience although not our favorite. All in all a good experience.

Cocina 4 estrellas...
