My experience at Catedral Bistró in Arucas was simply outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a super pleasant and welcoming ambiance that made me feel right at home. The restaurant was elegantly decorated, creating a charming and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a memorable meal.

The food at Catedral Bistró surpassed all my expectations. Every dish I tried was a true culinary masterpiece. There are restaurants, and then there are experiences—rare places where time slows, flavors unfold like poetry, and every detail is orchestrated to perfection. This restaurant is one of those rare finds, a hidden sanctuary that feels like stepping through a portal into another era, where elegance is effortless, and hospitality is an art form. From the moment you step inside, you are met by a hostess who is nothing short of perfection. She is both the gatekeeper to this world and the guide through its wonders, effortlessly balancing warmth with professionalism. Her knowledge of the menu is encyclopedic yet never overwhelming.

And then, the food. Oh, the food, the food is gastro poetry. The plating is artistry, compositions of color and texture that demand a moment of reverence before the first bite. Just when you think the hour visit could not be more perfect, the chef emerges, a vision of warmth and humility. He does not simply send out plates; he shares a part of himself with every creation. His gratitude is sincere, his passion undeniable. The experience leaves you spellbound. If you seek an evening that transcends the ordinary—where service, atmosphere, and cuisine align to create something magical—then this is your destination. A restaurant that doesn’t just feed you but writes poetry on your palate. An experience you will carry with you long after the last bite.

All the recommendations, all the praise—this is a place worth stepping into, time...

booked a table, came 10 minutes early, it's raining outside, the waitress says wait outside until I call you! I say it's raining hard outside, the waiter's answer is it's not my problem!! Service from a great establishment!!!

UPDATE!!!

First of all, if I wanted to ask for your advice on what to bring or not to bring, I would have done so. So please, keep your advice to yourself.

Secondly, I have reread all your responses, and they are terrible—rude, arrogant, and unethical posts. Since you like to say, “let’s speak the truth,” here it is: when I first approached your staff to ask for a table, the waitress was not serving anyone and was free (although when I approached a second time, she was indeed speaking with a customer), but she was not polite at all.

Polite people use words like “please” and “thank you,” but your waitress looked at me as if I had personally offended her, her fiancé, and her mother, and responded with rudeness.

In the end, even from your response, it is clear that the word “service” has no meaning in your establishment. You might as well put up a sign on your door making your attitude clear. But even if you don’t, a decent person, when faced with such rudeness, lack of manners, and arrogance, will always choose another place.

So, to anyone reading this review—don’t waste your time. These people don’t deserve your attention...

Just had an amazing dining experience in Gran Canaria! Found a gem of a restaurant in the Arucas village, a must-visit if you can snag a table. The chef and his team provide a top-notch culinary experience in a cozy setting with only 6 tables. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, and the chef's team crafts each dish with care. Started with fresh handmade bread, olive oil, and fleur de sel. Enjoyed a flavorful fish amuse-bouche, followed by a clever twist on escaldon gofio for starters. For the main course, we savored langoustine with prawn garlic sauce and amontillado, along with octopus with pig rinds and two types of chickpeas. Ended on a sweet note with a baked cheesecake. Paired it all with Tenerife wines, both red and white. The staff at point zero were incredibly friendly, creating a homey atmosphere. The chef personally took our order, explained dishes, and let us watch the kitchen in action due to the open kitchen concept. Tried amontillado, enhancing the langoustine dish. Left feeling like I had taken a taste trip and was valued as a customer. Can't wait to visit Gran Canaria again and enjoy the chef's creations!
