Restaurante El Mosquito — Restaurant in Baiona

I have been to Spain many times, but never have I ever met with such a worse services. First time there, the place was 1/2 full but the waitress said its full once he saw us. But of course, we are willing to try again the next time seeing what a good review this restaurant has.

Second time there, the other customer that came after us immediately got his table, but the waitress ignored us . After we asked again, we were finally seated. But of course , 30mins -45mins later, nobody even come to take our order (not even drink order) I sensed some racism from the staff and this is very rarely happened to me just because I look like an Asian.

We come as a customer not begging for free food.

For all foreigner coming to Baiona, Dont bother coming here . Such a waste...

I went with a group of four of us and we were recommended this place. We chose a whole turbot cooked in the oven on a bed of potatoes and peppers which was just magnificent. We spoke to the head person (owner perhaps) who took us through the catch of the day and suggested several ways they could cook the fish and we agreed on the above recipe. We were advised on the cooking time being 30-40 minutes but the wait was worth it and passed quickly with a nice white wine and some zamburiñas . We thoroughly enjoyed the fish and was cooked to perfection. Succulent fresh turbot a real treat. The price was reasonable and the service super friendly. Would highly recommend especially given that they essentially improvised a superb dish that showcases their...

No le pongo una estrella porque comida está sabrosa, pero la atención deja mucho que desear. Para empezar, llegamos y como es lógico nos paramos en la entrada para indicar que teníamos reserva y esperar a que nos acompañaran a nuestra mesa, se lo dijimos a una chica de rizos que se fue para dentro y nunca más volvió, alfinal como todo el mundo entraba sin preguntar ni esperar terminamos entrando por nuestra cuenta, casi 15min después de llegar. Luego nos sientan y le decimos al camarero que ya decidimos lo que pedir porque había una carta fuera y aún así nos da la carta y tarda otros 15 min en volver a tomarnos nota, sin ofrecernos ni de beber ni pan entremedias... Luego la comida más o menos fue llegando bien pero a la hora de pagar otra vez tuvimos que "rogarle" a la gente. Por lo que pudimos comprobar había como 4 camareros jóvenes, que se dedicaban a pasearse o mirar el paisaje fuera (entre ellos la chica de rizos, que no la vi hacer nada útil en las dos horas que estuvimos comiendo), y luego había un señor alto que era el único que trabajaba, este señor se dedicaba a poner planes, anotar comandas, servir comida, recoger platos y cobrar... Y lo simpático es que si, como nosotros, le pedías a alguno de los chavales que te tomase nota o te cobrase, ellos contestaban que había que esperar por el señor alto... Sinceramente me parece un desperdicio de personal y una forma de organizar una comida que perjudica seriamente la buena atención al cliente y que los tiempos de atención de prolonguen sin motivo justificado. En general me pareció que tienen muy muy mala organización, hay k saber delegar y gestionar mejor el trabajo, y tb hay k saber ser un poco más agradables...
