Being Good Friday and the town being full to the brim with holiday makers, I decided to venture a little further away from the overrun seaside promenade and into the old town. I stumbled upon this place and I haven't been disappointed. The food was delicious and the lady that waited on me was very attentive and at the same time unobtrusive, which I value immensely. I had the mussels with vinaigrette as a starter and the veal tenderloin with peppercorn sauce as a main. All accompanied with some lovely local wine which I ordered by the glass, so I can't remember which one it was. If you're in a Baiona, do yourself a favour and go there for dinner.

This establishment is my preferred dining option in Baiona. I first visited five years ago and was particularly impressed by the octopus and Spanish rice dishes. On this most recent visit, we repeated the same order. Carmen and her husband, who is the chef, were as gracious and attentive as ever, and the food was once again delicious. I look forward to returning next year. I enjoyed conversing with Carmen and her husband, the talented chef who prepared an exceptional meal for us.

¡Impresionante!

High quality chef owned restaurant which has an extensive menu from seafood to steaks. I enjoyed my lightly fried baby squid starter followed by rice with seafood which contained mussels, clams, octopus, prawns and hake pieces. Guaranteed decent meal although a little more pricey than other...
