I’m a New Yorker in Barcelona on business and stopped here for breakfast and coffee. The food was good, but I was disappointed at checkout. The two locals ahead of me paid normally, but when it was my turn I was presented with a screen asking for a 15–30% tip. Having been to Spain many times, I know this isn’t customary—usually just a small coin or two for great service. When I asked, the cashier admitted it wasn’t expected, just “optional.”

We ordered 4 different tapas wheres we got two wrong ones. Maybe they should start writing the order down to remeber everything correctly.
