deVega (Desayunos - Josper - pescados - carne) — Restaurant in Barcelona

During 6 days of staying in Barcelona we had the pleasure to be guests in deVega three times. For the first time we visited this place just by accident, passing by we spontaneously decided to get in. But the second and third visits were conscious choices as we knew we would have an exceptional culinary experience. The eggplant, sweet potatoes, beef, pork, salads all the dishes were so delicious, so exceptional with tastes and flavours we have never had before! As typical tourists we visited all the iconic places in Barcelona like Sagrada Familia, Park Guell etc. but de Vega is a real discovery of the trip! So, if you are in Barcelona add this place to your short list of "must see", it is definitely worth it to be here. We did a reservation via the fork app at 10:00 with 40% discount for 6 people for 21:00. The reservation was accepted and got the confirmation email. 4hours before the reservation time we got an email from the fork canceling the reservation. I called the restaurant. They replied to me that they were open but only accepted reserves for tables of 8. To me: Looks like they advertised their restaurant on the fork app to generate customers but as they had more demand of customers (who would pay without 40% discount) for today, they decided to cancel the the fork reservations with this non-sense excuse. Doesn't seem fair but rather a dishonest way to manage customers like this. If I were you and wanted to make reservation (by the fork or any other app) I would stay away...

This restaurant was such a great time!! Not only did we feel very welcome as soon as we came in but the service, food and atmosphere were all fantastic!!! Our server was running the entire restaurant herself along with making drinks and still made sure to give us a great experience with quality food and drinks!
