Playa de Bogatell — Attraction in Barcelona

It a long stretch, and good for most wether you are looking to relax or grab a drink and listen to some music. There are bars around, nice restaurants. and clubs that open later in the night. downside is by the afternoon there's trash floating around and its gross and make you feel like you're wading in garbage soup, they clean them in the mornings so thats the best time to go! whenever you go though: DO NOT GO ON OR AROUND THE ROCKS. they're covered in sea urchins, I was unknowingly near a rock that was hiding underwater, and got 5 deep needles stuck, the medics can't do anything, but you have to go back to wherever you are staying and either take them out yourself, or wait for your body to reject them.. its dangerous and painful but just a warning: don't even go...

If you do not have time to leave Barcelona and want to visit the beach, the place is nice, sometimes gets dirty due to the visitors. I suggest you take your umbrella because umbrellas are rented for 10 Euro whish is the price of an umbrella outside the beach in any small market. Be careful from the guys who sell alcohol on the beach with high prices, I saw them selling a sangria cup for 10 euro, and from a market you can buy 10 bottles of 1.5 liters of sangria!!!! Do not buy...

Nice beach, but usually packed with people. It can get a bit hard to find a place to lay at (that you are pleased with) espacially if you are a group.

But a nice area to relax at, with a bit distiubance from sellers who are walking around with drinks to sell and big shawls to sit on, if you don't have a towel.
