El Santet Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

This is a must visit place for everyone. It was so refreshing to find an establishment that not only represents great value but also matches it with great food and service. We started off with a couple of gildas which were so fresh and tasty and not overly saturated in oil. We then ordered the chicken wings, ribs and calamari which all came with their own delicious home made sauces. I washed it down with a Smokey Paloma which was soooo good. The beers also arrived at that perfectly cold temperature that made you want to keep drinking them. We had their home made limoncello at the end which was the best limoncello that I have ever tried. The speed of the service is incredible. So incredible infact, that i'm not quite sure they posses a kitchen... The food was mediocre at best and seemed to be microwaved quickly, which is probably why our food wasn't really warm. The price to performance ratio for the items on the menu vary greatly. For example we ordered chips for 3.95€ which turned out to be a small bowl of crisps. Approximately 5 times the amount of which we previously bought in a supermarket...

Really Great Service, also in English. The Food was surprisingly good, i did not expect much as i saw this Bar. Was there for Breakfast on the first day of vacation. The Bikini (Grilled Ham&Cheese) was amazing. Next day i came back for the calamari frito, wich were way better than in all the fancy Seafood Restaurants and also way cheaper. I came back a 3th time and tried many more dishes and all were very tasty and they serve large portions.
