Great atmosphere, food, and staff. A reservation is recommended, but we were able to get in twice without one. This was the only restaurants we went to twice the whole time we were in Spain. I could not get enough of the prawn tapas. Mmmm! Our first encounter with the staff was a bit a cold shoulder, but we (as service workers too) understand how hard food service is these days, so we were patient. We were rewarded with a great experience and awesome food.

Our experience of this writing is that Barcelona can be a tough place for tourists to get friendly service because tourism has not been great for the locals, especially in Gracia (one of the last hold-outs where people live and work in the neighborhood). Rude and obnoxious strangers not understanding the culture (the difference between Spanish and Catalan) and demanding service like they get at home is nothing I would want to deal with either. We had great luck communicating with Google Translate (it's an app for your phone) and as a result we had some lovely experiences.

So, if you are reading the one star reviews about being ignored, bad service, blah-de-blah, and thinking twice, just remember you are going into someone else's "home." A smile, a bit of the Catalan language and patience will get you far in this town. You're on vacation after all.

I have tried Angus beef burger and chicken sticks with sauce, the best non-smash burger i have ever eaten, truffle sauce was superb. And now about the chicken sticks, i have never eaten better chicken sticks, so moist and in same time not overcooked, i strongly recommend trying chicken sticks if you don't like burgers. Burger meat was cooked so well and buns were soft. I have eaten a lot of smash burgers, and i must say that this burger is different but it has very good meat taste. Waiter was very polite and helped us about food choice. If i ever visit Barcelona again, i will come to this place for sure! Always make a plan B if you are coming here one hour before closing they say they won’t serve you food. When i told them they should mention that on google or whatever, they became a bit rude in tone of voice. Just to be clear, not complaining about their policy but their response.
