Red lights everywhere; I left with a headache. The service seemed quite rude to me, ironically, even though it's a wine bar, they lack a sommelier to offer advice; there are only waiters who didn't change my glass when I ordered a different wine from the one I was drinking, and they served it at room temperature. That alone made me want to leave.
The price, in my opinion, was very inflated: €3.60 for a glass of "bag-in-box" wine which, although organic, shouldn't cost the owners more than €6 for the entire box! When I asked about the prices, the staff mentioned that one of the owners is a winemaker with a natural wine distribution business, which gives the bar its "prestige." I argued that, for this reason, the prices should be less speculative, as there are no "middlemen," and having at least a sommelier in charge would be ideal.
The food we ordered didn’t surprise us in terms of flavor; it was very ordinary. The waiters also don’t change the plates when you order another dish.

Read moreThe bartender was rude and was not helpful with providing any suggestions of their wine selection. We asked if the wine or products were available to purchase and they said no. We paid for our cup of wine and enjoyed our drink. Upon leaving, a lady ran out after us and loudly accused us of not paying our tab. We explained that we paid for our drinks upfront with the bartender, yet she was still doubtful. Instead of chasing after a customer, the appropriate thing to do is to ask your employee if the customer has paid. For an owner to chase down a customer and accuse them of not paying is very rude and nasty. It feels like they lack in professionalism and could use some guidance on appropriate customer service. The ambiance was nice but clearly the people who work there know how to ruin...
