Not authentic Japanese Ramen as Tonkotsu (bone-in) broth was not used for the base of the soups, and thus lacking in depth of flavour. Ordered Miso Ramen & Butakara Ramen. Still tasty as an asian noodle soup dish but definitely not Japanese Ramen. Also ordered Yakitori, tender chicken pieces with teriyaki sauce, however again it is not prepared the authentic way, the skewers were definitely not grilled as it should be to be called "yakitori" but rather it was most likely blanched, and the teriyaki sauce way too watery. I am a tourist from Singapore where there is an abundance of high quality restaurants of every cuisine even in the average tier, and I was also not expecting much of an Asian restaurant in Europe to begin with, so dining here met my lowered expectations well. Food is still tasty and passable, its just not an authentic Japanese cuisine if you're looking for one...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Ramen BCN, and it was a fantastic experience. The Shoyu ramen and Wafuu salad I ordered were delicious. The rich and savory flavors in the ramen broth combined with perfectly cooked noodles made for a truly satisfying meal. The Wafuu salad provided a refreshing and crunchy contrast that paired well with the ramen.
What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional customer service. Even when the restaurant was busy, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. They even separated a table to accommodate us, which was a lovely gesture and made us feel truly valued as customers.
Ramen BCN is definitely a go-to spot for ramen lovers in Barcelona. With great food and outstanding service, I'm looking forward to returning for more culinary delights...

Having said that, you can tell they didn't do the usual pork stock typically found in Japanese ramen where they cook the pork fat and pork bones for hours on end so soup is a little bland.
The buta kara ramen is basically tan tan men (擔擔麵) and the egg noodle that came with it is fairly good. I didn't mind it so much. My husband got a miso ramen and he wasn't so happy because he said the soup stock tastes very similar to the Nissin Tonkotsu ramen stock.
Regardless, if you're craving for Asian food, this place isn't too bad to go to. If you're looking for seriously legit Japanese ramen,...
