Read moreFirst, the food was not ok: spaghetti carbonara is not the real thing (they add creme to it and I doubt they used guanciale or pancetta), the caesar salad had snitzel pieces and the quatro formaggi pizza was a frozen product. Then, the waiter, was really bad, I asked him to have pizza without blue cheese and the pizza was having the blue cheese, it was for the kid (of course, I underdstood why, because it was already made like this being a frozen product). The sangria, all what is mentioned here in the comments as negatives, is true, they don’t have the product in the menu, and they bring you a pot of sangria. I do not want to discuss about the price, it is what it is, I assumed spending around 105 euro on a meal on the Rambla. After this, I asked the waiter not to bring 2 Crema Catalana, but just 1, and he said that the kitchen already made both (they believe that we don’t know what crema catalana means in terms of preparation). Hey you, we do know that those were already done before our arrival. It’s not that they have overpriced meals, I wouldn’t return there not even for 10 euro per table. You had a constant feeling that you were fooled and something is wrong. They are putting nice people in front while walking the Rambla and after fishing you, they are done with you. It was just a...
Read moreHorrible service. Ordered lobster - MISTAKE. Both claws were completely raw. When asked to correct the meal, server dropped claws on my chair and the floor... Guess what, they attempted to re-serve me the same piece of meat cooked up which they dropped!!!! Disgusting. When I tried to request that they remove lobster only from the bill they refused and said there was nothing wrong with it, despite dropping off the plate onto my chair. 6 other diners witnessed this and they tried to claim the empty shells were what fell. They said because I ate a few bites (before discovering the completely raw bits) that I should pay for the whole thing. Never did they offer me another fresh piece or a different solution. I've never been angry in a restaurant before but this was the worst service I've ever received, anywhere in the world! What a shame, they claim 75 years in business but I simply can't imagine how based on that...
