I don't even know what to say. 5 stars is not enough to convey the absolutely spectacular experience my wife and I had here. Everything from the service, the atmosphere, the quality and deliciousness of the food blew us away. The thought and attention to detail in every aspect of the experience really shows. We enjoyed every course. Our server was very attentive and helped us choose the right dishes for us. We enjoyed his recommendations. Now, for the cherry on top, our server recommended the humble and unassumingly named desert: chocolate, bread, olive oil and salt. I was intrigued but unsure I would enjoy such a combination but my wife encouraged me, saying it sounds different and up my ally and I am glad she did. It was absolutely delicious and the best dessert I have ever had. The server told us the story behind it that this combination is a traditional Catalan desert that was severed many years ago. This desert dish is a modern take on this combination and uses those same key elements to put together something that is truly spectacular. Went in, and even though we clearly weren't dressed properly (we didn't plan this at all) we got a really warm welcome and one of the best service we've gotten in any restaurant during our holidays so far. Waiter made us feel at home and took away our guilt of not ordering so much food. Food was exceptional and the wine pairing was perfect. One down side was that despite the ac, the room was quite hot (but we are both sensitive to heat, it might be OK for others). Read moreVarem anar a sopar la meva dona i jo, arrel de veure el programa Joc de Cartes de TV3 ( una bona publicitat, per cert). Sincerament, com es diu, vulgarment, "la realitat supera a la ficció". Atenció perfecte, per part del noi que esta a la porta i per part del cuiner/propietari, ( crec que es diu Jordi ). Local petit, molt ben aprofitat, entranyable i acollidor, llastima que hi havia poca llum, pel meu gust. (Varem anar a sopar). De primers uns entrants "sorpresa" de la casa, molt originals i molt bons. De primer i per picar uns bunyols de bacallà, amb una textura i un sabor espectacular i seguint amb uns calamars a l´andalusa amb l´arrebossat perfecte.... De segon, la meva dona una rajada "salvatge" acompanyada amb una salsa boníssima. Jo de segon, un costelló de porc cuinat a la perfecció, es desfeia a la boca i tenia un sabor exquisit. Unes patates fregides, per acompanyar el costelló impressionants ( a pocs llocs les fan iguals de bones i al punt ) i la meva esposa per acompanyar el peix uns cabdells a la brasa ( potser una tria no massa encertada, però bons ). I per acabar.....el postre mes famós d´aquest restaurant.....El pastis de Formatge.... es diferent, però esta boníssim.....
