I've eaten here a couple of times, and have had the "please review us" card sitting guiltily on my desk since my last visit. So here goes:
The service here is excellent (shout-out to Araceli!). Fast, extremely friendly, courteous. There are vegetarian and vegan options, which isn't always the case for ramen restaurants, given the traditional pork base. The prices are a bit higher than they ought to be, given it's set up as a 'fast noodles' type place (one long table and several smaller ones in one room); at least the air con works on hot days. It wouldn't suit a romantic date.
The ramen itself is not that great. The first time I had it was fine--nothing special, but fine. The second time though, the base was EXTREMELY salty, and the noodles overcooked so they were 'gluggy' with an unpleasant texture. I improved the taste somewhat with hot sauce, but it was yuck enough to make me not want to go back. There are plenty of ramen restaurants in Barcelona, so I'm happy to search for another until I find my...
Read moreIt IS eatable, but not worth to come back or recommend to your friends, family or colleagues. Service is VERY efficient and VERY friendly… (that’s the main reason I give extra star) UNFORTUNATELY, the food is extremely plain and dull Chicken fingers over dried and waaay too much breaded, sauce taste like colored simple sugar syrup Udon soup is tasteless. The broth is very dull, my asked “less salt” lost in translation to kitchen. I’ve tried to improve by ordering hot peppers or hot sauce, but received tasteless colored powder which suppose to be a red hot pepper… The waiter curiously asked my opinion about the food and was extremely and sincerely apologetic… In short, keep the place open, reward the servers, and please P L E A S E change the cook or get a chef to improve menu.. I’ll check again this place again in a couple months since I just moved to this neighborhood… Stay tune...
Read moreIt's a bit disappointing, to be honest. I ate in this chain a few times before in previous years and always had a good experience. I dont know if it's only this restaurant or the whole company, but i feel that the quality decreased significantly.
The gyozas were like the ones im making at home from the fozen ones i can buy in the Chinese supermarket.
The Tori Nanban Udon was also tasting like it was made from a premade past or something, didn't taste good, and was really salty.
The cortado i asked in the end came cold. Never in my life got a cortado served cold.
Service was also weird. During like 70% of the time we were in the restaurant no employee was on sight, i saw at least 3 clients coming in, waiting at the "wait here" sign, then after a few minutes they left casue nobody attended them.
I would not return,...
