Parc del Turó — Attraction in Barcelona

This is a review of the playground, not the park itself.

The park is really nice and worth seeing for some very nice greenery and urban wildlife, but for some reason this park ended up on some blog at the top of a list of "10 best playgrounds in Barcelona".

The playground was a MASSIVE disappointment to my kids, as it's at best mediocre by the low standards of Barcelona playgrounds. We actually walked past two random neighborhood playgrounds on our walk to this playground, each of which were as good or better. It's a perfectly fine playground for younger kids ages 3 to 6, and has shade which is nice, but slightly older kids (7-11) will find it boring, and the playground itself is definitely not something worth going out of...

Me es muy triste poner este review porque el parque es muy bonito. Un hombre que trabaja supervisando el parque me pidió que salga porque entre con mi perro que estaba con correa, le dije que lo sentía mucho que no sabía q no se podía entrar con animales y empecé a salir, me siguió hasta la salida, lo cual me parece correcto, pero mientras salía comenzó a darme comentarios con un tono de voz fuerte y a decirme que aprenda a leer los carteles, le dije que tenia razón nuevamente y que no los vi porque entre con el móvil tomando fotografías y que lo sentía, el señor siguió dándome comentarios ofensivos diciendo q no sé leer, que si me vuelve a ver en el parque tenga cuidado y que mi perro es peligroso. Le dije que tiene que aprender a comunicarse con educación con las personas y en especial con mujeres y el señor no paró. Estoy segura que si hubiera estado acompañada no hubiera tenido esa actitud, pero estaba sola. Vuelvo a repetir, lamentablemente por estar en el móvil no vi el cartel de la entrada sobre los perros y está correcto que hagan su trabajo pero prefiero mil veces una multa a el maltrato verbal que me hizo el hombre que trabaja...

Smallish but very nice park in the center near Francesc Masía traffic roundabout. Surrounded by high buildings to quite a bit of shade, plenty on benches some in sun (during middle of the day) and others in share. Pond and paths to walk around and a great kids playground, but not big open grass expanses. Plenty of fashionable shops and cafes and restaurants nearby during...
