During a recent visit to "Grau de l'Os" on Friday, the 16th, I was treated to a culinary experience worth sharing, based entirely on my own impressions.
The restaurant exudes a cozy and intimate vibe, thanks to its warm wooden decor and the peaceful ambiance. Although some soft background music could potentially enhance the atmosphere, the existing serenity has its own unique appeal.
The menu presents two well-priced options: a 27 euro set that includes a main course, a second dish, and a dessert, and a more extensive 36 euro option for those looking to sample a wider array of dishes. I opted for the 27 euro menu, enticed by the chance to delve into a curated selection of offerings.
The meal kicked off with a pork pâté appetizer, notable for its robust texture and distinct garlic flavor, setting the stage for a journey through bold tastes. This was followed by a potato lasagna with bechamel and cheeses from Moli de Ger, a dish that impresses with its subtle finesse and flavor harmony.
For the second course, the duck fillet was a highlight, perfectly cooked and paired with artichokes that offered a surprising depth of flavor and refinement. The veal fillet, though well-prepared, could have been served a bit warmer to fully preserve its sensory qualities.
The meal concluded on a high note with desserts - a mato y miel and a tarte tatin, both of which were executed with a masterful balance of sweetness and texture. The wine selection, "Un Toc de Solergibert" from Pla de Bages, complemented each dish beautifully, rounding out the dining experience.
In summary, "Grau de l'Os" is a gem of culinary excellence, untouched by the trappings of mainstream tourism, where the authenticity of flavors and meticulous service converge to create an unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone in pursuit of a true gastronomic adventure. This review, reflecting my visit on Friday the 16th, is born from a direct and unbiased experience, intended to offer a genuine perspective to fellow food enthusiasts.

The menu was good but as was very cold inside you do. I think it is better they spend money in heating the room as this is not a place to enjoy the food. Pullet pork with 🥐 was excellent. The rice...
Read moreUna grata sorpresa!
