Restaurante Amigos proved to be a pleasant surprise. Although it may appear to be primarily a spot for drinks, the food menu and the quality of ingredients are surprisingly good. It’s located in a beautiful alley that becomes quite busy during peak lunch hours.
Do keep in mind that prices are on the higher end, which is typical for Benahavis. However, some items justify the premium. For instance, the gambas al pilpil, priced at 16 Euros, were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of garlic and red pepper. On the downside, being charged 4 Euros for a basket of average bread and butter did not represent good value.
