While strolling through the streets of Benalmádena on my way to the town’s famous cable car, I happened upon a charming little ice cream shop called Jona’s. The display of vibrant, homemade flavors immediately caught my eye, but what truly stopped me in my tracks was the discovery of a rather unexpected option—Tocino de cielo ice cream. For those unfamiliar, Tocino de cielo is a rich, traditional Spanish dessert made from egg yolks and caramel, known for its silky texture and indulgent sweetness. Lo primero que cuando fui la chica que me atendió no sabía ni de qué eran los helados...le preguntaba por un sabor y le preguntaba al de al lado🤣🤷🏻‍♂️ y eso que estaba yo solo...decidí pedir los dos primeros que vi porque si no me tiraba allí toda la tarde 🤣luego de los dos que pedí uno era el de yogur con algo más... Solo sabía a yogur y me recordó mucho al helado del Mercadona en calidad y el otro que era de tarta de la abuela supuestamente, era pura arena... Malísimo que fue a la basura porque no había dios que se lo comiera ( debí probarlo antes como dijo la chica igual por eso insistió tanto) soy de comer bastantes helados y la textura que tenía era por no mezclar bien los polvos... Luego el precio me pareció caro para la calidad que dan,las dos tarrinas medianas parecían de juguetes y no la llenan apenas nada para casi 10€ que me costó...lo tengo cerca y prefiero ir al centro a 2 minutos andado que hay mejores...

Nice cafe, cute place. The ice cream is not as creamy as I expected it to be. Could be more intense in its flavors and could have higher melting point. They needed to kinda break the ice cream out of the cooling box, and in my opinion it should be...
