WOW! what an amazing experience me and my family have had today here at selwo marina! lots of animal ranges, animals ALL seem very looked after, and healthy. rather large enclosures. can get close up to certain animals, walk through enclosures with birds and small monkeys. good for all ages, the dolphin show was amazing! and the staff are all very experienced and polite. the fluffy penguin really took me by surprise, didn’t know there was fully penguins in existence😂 the dolphin enclosure looks very deep, and lots of room for the dolphins. looking at some reviews where they say “animal abuse” “small cages” the animals seem happy, and the dolphins seem to enjoy what they do, entertain people and show their skills off. i came here 10 years ago, and don’t remember much, but i was a bit disappointed at the end when we had a photo with a sea lion, 10 years ago, the sea lion actually puts their one arm around you, and now you gotta stand a bit away from the sea lion on a line, but other than that, was yet again, 10 years later, another fabulous experience, and we enjoyed ourselfs, the baby and grandmother loved it also! they have a park, slide, cafee, the gift shop was rather expensive, but overall, i would definitely recommend! hope you enjoy your visit!

Visited here mid March with my girlfriend and 2 children (6&1) The park was very easy to get to and not far from Benalmadena town. When we arrived the park was very quiet so gave us an opportunity to walk about without bumping in to people. Cost around €55 entry. It was just before 11am so we were in time for the penguin feeding show which was lovely. Our children got excited seeing the penguins swimming and jumping for the fish. Next we saw the sea lions, birds and little spider monkeys. Unfortunately it was freezing and raining and there isn't a lot of shelter so we rushed about a bit. At 12pm we saw the live dolphin show. This was fantastic for the kids. They did loads of different tricks and got a few of the children involved. To end the show, one of the trainers jumped in and did a few tricks in the water which was amazing to see. A photographer took pictures of you watching the shows which you could purchase on your way out. Think they were $7 each. We bought one which is a nice keepsake They did a parrot show just next to the dolphins but unfortunately it was too cold and windy to stay and watch this. Overall a great place to visit especially with young ones. Just go on a warmer day!

Arrived on a day where they were setting up a fayre, that made parking difficult. However, upon approaching the area there seemed to be sufficient parking. We saw 2 disabled parking spaces, but both were taken.. We received a discount for a person with a disability. There wasn't a queue when we arrived, we paid and walked straight in, but there were a few school buses and children in the marina. It is a little small and crowded. If you go in the week expect buses of school children inside. The shows are spaced a bit apart. We just missed the dolphin show, at 12pm the next one was at 5pm. The marina has a small variety of animals, birds, sea life and penguins. We couldn't see some of the animals due to reflection on the glass. They had a small aquarium with some fishes, where the tank looked very small and fish looked squashed inside. They have some reptiles and you can go into the spider monkey section and the guide will explain all the animals in there. No photos are allowed in this section. It took approximately 45 minutes to walk around Selwo Marina. I can't comment on the restaurant, there were a lot of school children queuing, so we decided not to wait.

There were 7 of us and the lady behind the desk informed me that it is cheaper to buy the tickets online €141.90 I also purchased the cable car €109.17. No-one one wanted to do Selwo adventure. Not once was I informed that some of facilities were unavailable and that if you buy your tickets from the establishment you will get reduced prices on the cable car. Baring in mind 7 of us and how expensive it is I think this is something that could have been mentioned before I bought the tickets online and certainly when I discussed it with her. There is no signage before you purchase informing you that some facilities are closed which is I think is unacceptable, I purchased the tickets from tiquets whilst at selwo marina and when I contacted them about this they could do nothing for me so be careful purchasing tickets online. The park is not worth the entrance fee, the only thing any good is the dolphin show. The staff are unfriendly and can't be bothered with tourists and doing their job. On a whole I don't recommend it. It is incredibly short with not alot to see.

Cute but small zoo, definitely great for kids with a delightful dolphin show that should not be missed. If possible buy the tickets online as they are cheaper. It is a lovely environment showcasing various animals from around the world of which a few are within an aviary which can be walked through allowing you to get close with a few birds and monkeys. Other animals are housed within clean enclosures allowing everyone to see them easily. There are a few educational talks introducing certain animals throughout the day along with the option to take a picture with a sea lion. Overall however, the dolphin show is what made the price worth it, so I definitely recommend not missing it. Additionally try to avoid the front 4 rows of seats as they are below water level which impedes your view of the performance.

Spent about two hours here and had no wait entering as it is off season. Many more animals than anticipated which made it enjoyable. Dolphin shows are at 12:00, 14:00 and 17:00 (April 2022). I would plan to get here between 1-2 hours before or after the shows so that you don’t have to wait around like we did. Probably the best dolphin show we have seen, just a shame it only lasted 15 minutes, we would have liked to see more. Sit towards the back if you don’t want to get splashed. Tickets are a bit pricey at €24 but if you consider the welfare, care and variety of the animals it is understandable. Tickets can be brought on the Selwo marina website in advanced to save money. You can also pay extra for animal experiences or photographs. Several ice cream stalls / American food areas. A nice half a day out!
