Matilda Café — Restaurant in Benalmádena

I used to have breakfast there several times, but this one was the last one. We arrived, nobody receiving us, we sat on an empty place and we waited for about 5 minutes and nobody came to us at all. I had go to the counter to request someone to come, after a while, a lady appeared asking for our order (not even greeting us nor apologising), and we didn't have even the menu! During the whole breakfast, big dishes noises were coming from inside, really annoying. The food was really good, but the personnel and atmosphere were absolutely unacceptable. But the most shame was that the "manager" of the place (same of Yucas) was exactly there, in front of us, and he never even care about it. We'll done!! Unfortunately I'm not coming back to these 2 places, this attitude is absolutely awful....

Everything at its top. Fresh and tasty breakfast, large portion, proper coffee, great service and fantastic design. Everything with green and gold colour, great harmony. As an advice, maybe the size of the plates can be larger, cause the portions compare to the size of the plates are large. Certainly recommend their eggs with salmon and goat cheese bread. Also kid friendly, baby chair is available. Easy to find parking. Next to British school, so great for parents to get a coffee after dropping off their kids...

Almost everything was excellent and satisfying. The staff were very polite, friendly, and professional. The place was also very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Maybe the prices are a little high for this area. I just have two friendly suggestions: If the food plates were slightly bigger, it would give customers more comfort and space to cut bread or enjoy their meal. Please serve the coffee a bit hotter, as I tried it a few times and it felt slightly cold.

Overall, everything was really good....
