Mumtaz curry house — Restaurant in Benidorm

Went to the Mumtaz with my wife for a meal last night I had a Lamb Bhiriani and my wife had a Butter Chicken Curry the meal was served in instalments my wife was eating her curry 3 to 4 minutes before my meal was served then we had to wait for the breads to be served my wife always likes some chips on the side when these arrived they were clearly oven chips this is a go to at home but a no no for a restaurant.There wasn't any atmosphere and the staff were happy enough but seemed a bit inexperienced and almost shy to communicate with us.There are certainly a lot more indian restaurants in Benidorm that are a better experience but we thought we would give the Mumtaz a try unfortunately we will not be repeat customers but as I always say we are all different and if you visit you may have a different opinion to us but I hope our experience...

It was the first time my wife and I had ever been to an Indian restaurant, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. We asked the waiter to surprise us, and he was extremely friendly and kind, patiently explaining everything and offering excellent recommendations, since we were completely unfamiliar with Indian cuisine.

We chose the special Couple Offer menu for €44, which included papadum, naan, rice, chicken, and lamb. Everything was perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. The lamb was literally melting in the mouth, the sauces were amazing, and the portions were very generous — we left more than full !

Thank you for the great suggestions and warm hospitality ! It was a truly memorable experience. Next time we’re in Benidorm, we’ll definitely come back. We warmly recommend this...

My first time trying Indian food – and I loved it!

I visited Mumtaz Curry House for the first time, and it was also my first time ever trying Indian food. I went for the Vindaloo, and wow – it was full of flavour, spicy but not overwhelming, and really delicious. The sauce was rich and tasty, and the meat was cooked perfectly. I also had rice and naan on the side, which balanced the heat nicely.

The staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. Since I was new to Indian cuisine, they took the time to explain a few things and helped me choose something I might like – and they were absolutely right.

Great experience overall. If you’ve never had Indian food before, this is a great place to start. I’ll definitely be back to try...
