We didn't know what to expect when we arrived. There were only two tables occupied when we arrived. That said, we were there before six pm. We just needed somewhere to eat, after a long day pounding the shops. We ate from the set menu A and we found it hard to fault. The portion size was far bigger than we expected and the quality was as good, if not better than we had experienced in the UK. Hopefully it's because they use less MSGs. You get a starter, main, dessert or tea/coffee and 1/2 bottle of wine, pint or soft drink for 9.99 euros or at time or writing two people eat for £17.04.. We both had wine, one red and the other white and they both weren't shabby either. Also the ice cream was lush and the coffee tasted fabulous. Shame you can't have both! We felt like we were robbing the place as we left. That's the sign of a great night out. The two young men serving deserve a mention as they were two hard working young men and hats off to the chefs also. Even if they put the price up in the high season then it's still worth it. If they were closer to the sea front they could easily double the price and you wouldn't complain. As for the décor, yes it's very dated but I wouldn't let that put you off. The best restaurants should let their food do the talking. I don't review very often but this restaurant deserves a special mention. Definitely going back at...
Read moreWe visited here in June 2025 with friends for a sit-down meal (takeaway also available) and received a very warm welcome on arrival and complimentary prawn crackers. There was a great selection on the menu and we all selected from the set 3 course menu including half a bottle of wine, beer, water or soft drink.
For starters we all selected the vegetable spring rolls served with a sweet and sour dip. They were enormous, but a little greasy (I always think this about spring rolls). We chose a selection of rice, chips & noodles to share followed by mains of lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork balls, sizzling beef and prawns.
The food tasted really nice, and the lemon chicken and fluffy rice that I chose was full of flavor. The others also enjoyed their mains especially the prawns. The portion sizes were very generous (we took the left overs home). For dessert there was a choice of ice-cream or coffee.
We will definitely be returning because the food was value for money, the staff were friendly, the restaurant was very clean and we received a prompt service despite the restaurant...

The set menu is unbelievably good value, priced between just £10–£14 per person. That includes a starter, main course, dessert, and even a soft drink, glass of wine, or beer.
But it’s not just the price that impressed us—the food itself was some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve ever had. Every dish was full of bold, authentic flavours and cooked to perfection.
The service was warm, attentive, and friendly without ever feeling intrusive. This hidden gem delivers on every level: food, service, ambiance, and exceptional value. We’ll absolutely be returning next time in Benidorm!
