Levante beach is located in the New Town of Benidorm, which has so much to offer including The Benidorm Palace Theatre, a casino, bingo hall, lots of shops, hotels, restaurants and bars with tribute bands and karaoke, cable skiing, a children's fairground, a Wednesday and Sunday market located on waste ground near the Servigroup Pueblo Hotel at C. Ibiza, 17, 03503, a bowling alley and arcades.
The soft golden sand of Levante beach stretches for miles and the views are fantastic. It is possible to hire sunbeds and umbrellas. There is space to bring your own umbrella and sunbeds, and the beach is ideal to enjoy a picnic with friends or family. On the beach there are palm trees, first aid kiosks and children's parks Along side the beach there is a busy promenade lined with shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. If visiting Benidorm we would recommend a visit to both the New Town and Levante beach anytime of the year.
Other attractions in and around Benidorm include the Old Town (Tapas alley, Dove Park, Marina, Cala Del Mal Pas Beach, The L`Hort de Colon Museum, Poniente Beach, Parque de L'Alguiera and the Balco del Mediterrani), the Algar Waterfalls, the Costa Blanca Downhill Bike Ride, Segway and quad tours, the La Marina Shopping Centre, Mundomar (waterpark with dolphins, sea lions, tortoises, flamingos, parrots and so on), the chocolate museum in Villajoyosa, the Magic Robin Hood medieval dinner show / waterpark, the sleeping Lion (Mont Ponoch) hiking trail at Polop, museums in Guadalest, Terra & Aqua Natura, El Cisne Flea Market at Altea and Terra Mitica.

Every day (in September) we are here we find plenty of cigarette butts and other garbage. Shame on people who are polluting the beach, but I am surprised that there are no machines to clean the beach every night like in many other places in Spain.
I have been bitten 2 times in 3 days by fish while in the sea, both times ended up bleeding. This is apparently a common occurrence since the last year by a particular type of fish. Why can’t the authorities penalize people who are feeding such fish for fun (that’s why they come to people) and perhaps organize a mass fishing of that species by the coast?
Update: there is a mechanized cleaning of the beach at night, but only the parts closest to the sea - not the areas with the sunbeds. Apparently, nobody is cleaning those. Perhaps the city of Benidorm should force the ones that are renting out 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for 18€/day to keep those...
