Restaurant Pont Vell — Restaurant in Besalú

Wonderful. From the food to the service, everything was perfect. Do not miss this. We got the menu. So good! Our waitress was so professional, she was the best. We had never received such an amazing level of service. Her name was Kiara. The way the staff worked together was inspiring, it was so impressive to see them working in such harmony. Add to this the perfect view of the Besalu bridge and you get an amazing experience, coupled with the superb food - it is worth every penny. I would go back to Besalu just to eat there again and try all the items on the menu. I highly recommend anyone who visits this area to invest the time and the effort to come and visit this awesome place. It will; being you closer to each other and comfort you in ways food usually cant. Kudos to the team - all of you. You guys are awesome.

Обедали и ужинали в ресторане несколько дней в период проведения средневекового фестиваля. Заказывали посещение на сайте ресторана за два месяца. Положительный ответ на первый запрос пришел на следующий день. В ресторане есть веранда с великолепным видом на римский мост и реку Флувия. Романтическая атмосфера и спокойствие. Приветливый персонал и отличное обслуживание. Прекрасный английский. Особая благодарность сеньоре Анне и сеньору Францеску. Меню разнообразное. Все очень вкусно. Оригинальная подача блюд. Прекрасная винотека. Особо рекомендуем томатный суп с замороженным козьим сыром и филе утки с грушами в винном соусе Херес. Средний чек на двоих с бутылкой вина 60Е. Впечатление о ресторане великолепное. Очень рекомендуем ресторан PONT VELL в Бесалу для посещения и получения наслаждения от прекрасных блюд, обслуживания и спокойной обстановки. We had having dinners and suppers in restaurant PONT VELL in few days during the Besalu Medieval Festival-2017. Visits had been booked two months before via the Restaurant’s web site. The positive reply had been received on the next day after the first ask. There is terrace with magic view to the Roman bridge and river Fluvia. Romantic atmosphere and calmness. Friendly personal and excellent service. Special thanks to Senora Anna and Senor Francesk. The Carte is variably. All dishes are very tasty with original serving. Excellent vine Carte. We specially recommend “The cold tomato sup with cheese-ice cream” and “Duck breast with pears in syrup and Jerez vinegar sauce”. The average check with the vine’s bottle for two persons around 60 Euros. Excellent expression about the Restaurant, menu, staff and service. We really enjoyed our experience here, the food was fantastic, great service and it's an amazingly situated restaurant with a great view. We got the seafood set menu and a la cart cold tomatoe soup and scallops. We ordered a Rose wine, the day was super hot, and it was also very nice. Even though it's a nice restaurant bordering on fine dining it has a casual/comfotable feel and is welcome to children.
