Its also that the service, space and design make it feel like an oasis in the overhyped elbow-room only yelling vibe in this part of town. (I'm sorry, but a chunk of chorizo on a none too fresh slice of bread in a corner of a packed bar littered with empty beer glasses and used paper napkins isn't my idea of dinner). Here there's a chance to find a seat, have a conversation and appreciate the food rather than swallow the hype. The French toast dessert didn’t look like French toast but more like a collapsed soufflé which left us a little confused but it tasted fantastic anyway so no complaints there.
