Bar La Muga — Restaurant in Bilbao

Wanted to like this place, but had a very disappointing experience. There was a Guinness tap so I naturally ordered a few of them for my table. To my surprise, they were poured out of cans. Yes, a bar with a Guiness tap that serves Guinness out of freaking cans. Predictably, it was absolutely nothing like having one out of a tap. Now, that wouldn't be that big a deal if it was cheaper and the service had been great, which it wasn't. The girl who took my order (average height, arm tattoo) really looked as if she was doing me a favour....

I don't think I've ever had a worse experience at a bar in my life. My friend and I sat down and no one acknowledged us for at least 20 minutes. One we finally got our drink orders in they never came back to us to order food. Then it took 10 minutes to pay. We wasted an hour of our night here. Not only that, but they eventually pushed us out of the way to make room at the bar for the empty plates and glasses. I'm not sure why they would even put chairs over there if they were just gonna put all the trash in front of us. Would...

Fantastic little bar. Food is great. Massive quality burger for €10 (Although they cook it medium rare by default, ask them to cook it well if you prefer). The sandwiches are also top quality. They have about 6 taps of craft beer, the majority are local IPA's but they seem to change regularly. The staff are fantastic women Very obliging.
