Oh my god. I know I'm in the basque country and i know pintxos are everywhere but what a nice place. The beer is nice and cold and €2.80 Th pintxos all look amazing. You can seat by the bar and watch them without knowing what to order. They cost €2.70 The carne de cerdo ball with creamy cheese and chilli was delicious. The pan con chorizo looked nice but I just could not try anything else. Luckily I can get by in Spanish. Staff were nice and attentive but no English. Embrace the place. Just point at what you want and go for it.

Mugi Taberna was packed when I arrived just before 14h / 2 pm on a weekday with what appeared to be locals on their lunch break. Took that as a good sign… and it certainly was! I tried the croquetas de calamares con su propria tinta (squid with own ink) and de calabacin con queso (zucchini with cheese), classic pintxos that were so good that I ordered more. And even after the local lunch crowd left, Mugi Taberna filled up again within the hour demonstrating it truly is the place to be.

All 3 dishes were superb 😍😍😍 I’m changing the rating from 5* to 1* bcoz when I returned to this restaurant to eat the Iberico meat, the waitress was so, so rude. She won’t let me sit on a table. I made my way to the bar and the other waitress at the bar kept ignoring me. I think it’s bcoz she can’t speak English. I left without eating. Horrible service!!!!

It was the first dinner in our Bilbao trip. We ordered a few items and all of them were delicious. There was only one waiter serving all tables inside and outside the restaurant and he was so efficient and helpful, appreciate his service very much. I highly recommend this restaurant.

No puedes pasar por Bilbao sin disfrutar de su amplia variedad de pinchos. Entramos en este local y pedimos un refresco un txacolí y un par de pinchos, la cosa salió por algo más de 9€. No estuvo mal, para nosotros algo caro ya que el producto del pincho tampoco era algo muy exclusivo, una croqueta de calamar y un buñuelo de carne. La camarera muy amable, pero en general se echa en falta algo de información, si no te lanzas a por el camarero es casi imposible que te atiendan y si preguntas por de qué es cada pincho (ya que en ningún lado lo explican, al igual que tampoco aparece el precio) parece que tienen mucha prisa y no les gusta... si ofrecieran la información podrías escoger mejor sin riesgo a equivocarse... por lo demás buen sitio y agradable.

O my god ! What a nice pinchos we had. Everybite make you want to have another bite. Never stopping calories. There are lots of drinking options together with the bites. Nice atmosphere, even the weekdays night it is crowded. Highly recommended.
